Tim Challies recently posted an excerpt from Jerry Bridges' book, Respectable Sins, in which Bridges explains the excellent practice that he has made popular in his books - daily preaching the gospel to yourself. This is such a helpful practice, and one that keeps us ever centered on the cross of Christ.
